A safe and loving home is the foundation for every child’s growth. At Vuyani Safe Haven, we provide a secure and nurturing environment where children can heal, thrive, and rebuild their lives. After an initial three-month assessment, children may stay with us for up to two years.
Our five dedicated Child and Youth Care Workers live with them 24/7, offering the care, guidance, and support of a family.

Unlocking potential through education! Our Learning Centre provides tailored remedial support for children who have faced severe learning barriers due to neglect.
Designed to reintegrate learners into mainstream schooling, the program has already helped many children transition successfully. For those with special needs, we offer ongoing support, preparing them for a future at Boundless, a protective workplace.
Play is essential for growth! Through sports, cultural activities, and community events, we help children build confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Many of our children excel in rugby, netball, and other activities—earning awards and proudly representing their schools.

Healing hearts and minds. Many of our children have experienced trauma, neglect, or abuse. Our Therapeutic Program provides crucial support, including play therapy, psychological assessments, and group sessions.
With care and compassion, we help them process their past and build emotional resilience for the future.
Reconnecting families, rebuilding futures. Whenever possible, we facilitate the safe reunification of children with their biological or extended families.
Through regular visits, holiday placements, and family case conferences, we strengthen bonds and assess readiness for reunification. When this is not possible, we assist with foster care placements to ensure every child finds a permanent and loving home.
